Hailing from Michigan, Kate moved west listening to her brother’s advice to “kill some time in a ski town.”  Nearly 15 years later she still loves the endless adventures and mountain lifestyle. Kate joined Alpine Lodging in 2012 and holds BAs in Hospitality Management and French.  Formerly the General Manager of the Hotel Columbia, she brings a deep understanding of the hospitality industry and quirks of the Telluride market to her role as Director of Operations.  Outside of work, Kate and her husband Michael spend their free time mountain biking, rafting, skiing and throwing the frisbee for their dog Max.
