Upon entering this condo, you’ll be welcomed into a large, airy living space complete with a dining area, living room and kitchen. The living room’s couch pulls out into a queen sofa sleeper, and the space is furnished with a gas fireplace, huge flat screen TV and a beautiful balcony that has views of the surrounding mountains.
The living area is open to the fully equipped kitchen, which features granite countertops and a breakfast bar with seating. A dining area is also open to the kitchen and has seating for four. And if you need to do a little work, there's a desk in the entry nook.
The only bedroom in this unit has a queen bed, TV, dresser and a safe. The bathroom, which is located in the hallway, has a shower/jetted tub combo and beautiful finishes. Every unit at the Bear Creek Lodge includes a fan, humidifier, hairdryer, coffee maker, starter coffee, and robes.
The Bear Creek Lodge offers free fiber wireless internet access, a fitness center, newly-remodeled outdoor year-round heated pool and hot tubs, grills, a fire pit, sauna and a free shuttle for guest use within Mountain Village. The pool, hot tub and shuttle operation hours vary. Please consult the front desk for hours during your stay.
Parking at the Bear Creek Lodge is NOT guaranteed. One parking spot per unit may be available on a first-come, first-served basis for $30 per night. Parking fees will be charged at check-in. If parking is not available at the lodge, parking is available at the Gondola Parking Garage for $30 per night. The Gondola Parking Garage is located behind Market Plaza and is accessible via the on-demand shuttle at the Bear Creek Lodge.

I came, knowing nothing about Mountain Village and the transportation system. Being a short walk to the Marketplace, where I picked up a gondola for classes, either at Mountain Village, or down in Telluride, made this trip, hassle, free, easy and such a joy. And calling the Ahn-demand Shuttle may returning in the evening easy and safe . Unit 311 was lovely. However, I would make sure to mention in the description that it is a giant sectional, not a sofa bed, so how do I brought a friend, it would’ve been very uncomfortable for someone to sleep there Thank you for the help when I booked it, to find a unit that had a view of the beautiful mountains.- Saundra C , Posted: 6/27/2023The FREE shuttle is a great guest amenity and I am happy that you took notice of how easy & safe it is to use. Shane Hart saved the day!!
Our original accommodations in Durango needed to be cancelled due to a fire, so we needed to make spare of the moment reservations for a family of 5 with 1 dog. We called Alpine Lodging and explained our situation to Shane Hart. Shane Hart was extremely patient and spent over 20 minutes on the phone with us to find accommodations that exceeded our expectations. We ended up with 2 rooms at Bear Creek Lodge - one dog friendly and a one-bedroom condo 311. We were very happy with the spacious, comfortable and scenic aspects of 311. I needed wifi to work remotely on Friday. I was very pleased to be able to move the desk near the balcony doors and soak in the view while working. The large kitchen was perfect to prepare meals and feed 5 people. Quality Stay!
Our family vacation good not have been better. The Bear Creek staff were so accommodating. Upon our arrival, we learned that the unit we had initially rented (Unit 311) had an unexpected plumbing issue which made the unit inhabitable. Bear Creek informed us of the issue and had already made alternative arrangements for us to stay in another unit on the same level with similar accommodations during our scheduled stay. The lodge was clean, well stocked, and spacious for our family of four. Although the Funicular was not yet operating for guests during our reservation, we utilized the shuttle to the nearby grocery store where we were able to either ski down or take the gondola to Mountain Village. We had a wonderful time and are looking forward to booking another trip at Bear Creek Lodge.
