Loved the hotel, hated their middle man Red Awning!!
The hotel was lovely and totally worth your $$. The middleman RED AWNING is annoying to deal with. For starters you get a VERY LONG, but informative email. Unfortunately, from then on, anything they have to say to you is at the bottom of EVERY email that yo will get…and you will get A LOT of emails, and since they all look alike you’ll be tempted to trash them. If I find out before I hit the Submit button that Red Awning is involved, I won’t book. They are seriously annoying, and even the hotels will tell you that too.

Loved the hot
This revie is NOT about the Mountain Inn, which was lovely in all ways and totally worth your $$. This is about Red Awning who handled all the communications. They bombard you with emails. Very very long emails and most of the time once you have scrolled throw lines and lines of text, you discover that the mail was a duplicate of what you received a week ago. Seriously RED AWNING, if I find out before I book a room that you are the middle man, I’ll find somewhere else to sleep. It’s THAT bad.

Beautiful Stay
The staff were so helpful immediately and let us know about things around town that we should check out. The room was clean, spacious, and nice bathroom. The location was ideal and still allowed for views of the creek.

Great Location
Great place to stay! We have a pet, and they were extra understanding and very nice to our pet - and the accommodations! The hot tub (*there are 2) is amazing - great for a long, hard day on the mountain! The staff is very friendly and helpful! We would (and we are) staying here again! It's a great location to the market, gondola and town. We highly recommending Mountainside Inn!

In town, Comfy, & most Affordable
Mountainside Inn is the perfect answer to comfortable, in town (near the Coonskin Lift) and more reasonably priced Telluride accommodation. Friendly staff, comfortable bed, hot tub.

Bare bones accommodations
Our dog was with us, which probably explains why our ""view"" was the driveway. Had to keep the blind down the entire time we were there. The carpet was filthy and, no, it wasn't from our dog. I wiped up a water spill and a LOT of dirt came up. The sheets and towels were clean. The room has no personality, which is o.k., I guess. It was hot during the day (no a.c.), but cooled down with a fan at night. It was quiet at night, even considering our room faced the driveway. If you're staying with a dog and willing to pay an extra $30 PER NIGHT, this place is fine. But if you're looking for something a little more upscale, this isn't the place for you.

Horrible bed and drapes that are too small
The bed was rock hard and wasn't an actual king size bed, but rather two twins pushed together. That would have been fine if there had been a pad on top to mask the huge seam in the middle. The drapes on the windows were too small as well and a lot of light got through.

I am sorry to hear that your bed was not comfortable.We will talk with our housekeepers, as the beds have a sheepskin pad and a matress pad for comfort.We appreciate the feed back and as always will do all that we can to remedy the situation.
