Staff was lovely, but room is not as advertised. It was dark with. Window facing another building where they could look directly into my room making me extremely uncomfortable

Great location, modest everything else
We’ve stayed at the Mountainside Inn for years both because the location is excellent, they have kitchenettes (my husband is vegan and it’s hard to find many options at local restaurants), and they are pet friendly. The units themselves in terms of furnishings are pretty basic though some are definitely better than others. This is the first time we stayed in unit 315 and it’s right across from the parking garage of an adjacent building and it was very loud all night long. Between that and the dog in the adjacent unit that barked for a few hours in the morning presumably after it’s owners went somewhere made for a much noisier stay than we’re used to so we wouldn’t rent this unit again unless the price was pretty discounted relative to other options at the property, but we’ll definitely be back and will just stay in a different unit.

Wouldn't Recommend
Honestly, If you're looking to stay in Telluride I would recommend going elsewhere unless this is your last option. One of the only plus's in this experience was the allowance of a pet. Checking in after hours is painful. They didn't send the information until 6:45PM of the check in day and service going into Telluride is poor. As for the room, it was comical that there wasn't even a fitted sheet for the bed. Just a top sheet. Paying 600$ for two days is pretty steep for what you get. Also, if anything isn't right with your room the management is not super accommodating and pretty curt with the attitude of "it is what it is". If you're spending money, have it go towards a nicer place.

I’ve stayed at Mountainside 7 of the last 12 years and intend to stay here every time I come to Telluride. Clean, convenient and easy check in and out. The value is the best in Telluride. Being so close to lift 7 and the ticket office made it an easy choice. I always book a room with a kitchen to save on meals. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating.

I was concerned we weren't going to find an affordable lodging but this Mountainside Lodge was perfect for us. Walk to lift and was safe & clean. Was it a 5 star lodging no but it was 5 star for us. We never had to move our truck, walked everywhere or free city shuttle. Only thing missing jacuzzi but definitely would stay there again

Great location and efficient room
We were in town for a wedding. We had everything we needed for our stay. Check in and out were wonderfully easy and efficient. Perfect location just a short walk to the gondola and downtown Telluride.

Great basic room
We had everything we needed. Be sure to ask for creekside or montainside room. Or you may face the noisy adjacent bldg.
