Not what is used to be
We have stayed here numerous times over the last 15 or so years. Nothing has changed but the price, it keeps going up. Location is great, fairly quiet, and used to be a descent deal. There was dog food all over the room, an half chewed dog bone in the tv cabinet, and an empty beer can in the dresser. On our last night, we were woken at midnight because of a gas leak, and then at 6am for a fire alarm. We were told by the night clerk we would be refunded a nights stay, but nothing has been done. Unless things change, we will not be staying here again.

I have spoken with the housekeeping manager and brought these issues to her attention. Please, in the future, if you find these issues, please report them during your stay and we will do our best to fix the problem. With regards to pricing, we are the most affordable lodging in Telluride. Given your history at the Inn we hope you give us another chance to exceed your expectations. Muontainside Inn Management

Property is “nothin fancy”…….. might be a problem for someone who needs “fancy” I’m Not one of those. Did not like my room cuz it has a door that goes thru to the room adjacent. That’s great if u know the people staying in that adjacent room. Not the case with my stay and I could hear every word spoken from the guys staying next to me. Disturbing!!

Comfortable and Affordable
Enjoyed stay in Telluride. It was comfortable; easy parking and great access to river - quick walk downtown and to ice rink. Coffee in room was only downside, but walking distance to delicious Cowboy Coffee.

Great mountainside inn
It is a great place to stay when visiting Telluride. It is close to shops and close to the gondola ride up to mountain village. Very nice scenic walk along the river. It is quiet place and everything was in working order. Thank you for a great 2 night stay.

Short walk to everything, affordable
We come to Telluride for the Horror Show every year and this is the perfect place to stay. Close to everything. Quiet, affordable. Has everything you need. Perfect.

beyond gratitude...
Lisa Sims, the general manager, was very understanding with a miscommunication that could have ended my 7hr roadtrip horribly! Instead, she was very professional, accommodating, & caring; which in turn allowed us to continue our getaway and enjoy ourselves immensely. A great stay, would recommend to all !!!

Close to everything
Hotel was what we needed - place to shower and sleep within walking distance to everything in town as well as the gondola. The room was clean, bedding and towels were comfortable. Check-in was easy and there was plenty of parking which was easy to get to. We had a code to our room and for the building after 7 pm which was nice. The only negative was that the next day when I went to put things in the car, I was locked out of the room - and it was still an hour before checkout. Luckily my husband was still in the room. There wasn't air-conditioning, but there was a fan and the windows opened - you really don't need a/c as it cools off quite a bit at night - we were comfortable. There was an ice-machine next to the office which was fine for what we needed.

Good location
The room is pricey but still cheaper than 90% of the rooms during TFF so for that reason I say it is good value.
